GIVING

Camp of Excellence Annual Fund
A gift to Camp of Excellence is a gift to the future, because Camp of Excellence campers go on to accomplish great things.
Gifts to the Annual Fund support the Teacher who taught you how to think, the coach who showed you how to lead, the mentor who set you on your professional path, and the camp counselor who showed you how to have fun and let loose in the process.
Annual Fund gifts can be spent as they come in and are directed wherever the need is greatest, creating opportunities for learning and discovery, providing scholarships for campers who need them, and giving Camp of Excellence the flexibility to take advantage of emerging opportunities and to respond to unanticipated needs and challenges. They also provide our president with resources she can use to plan for Camp of Excellence's future and to ensure that the Camp remains an inclusive and intellectually dynamic community.
Endowment Giving
The endowment, the permanent capital of Camp of Excellence, provides funding to support the academic. therapeutic, and athletic mission of Camp of Excellence, for current and future campers and lends fiscal stability to the Camp. Income from the endowment augments Camp of Excellence’s operating budget and its core priorities of financial aid, faculty excellence and research. This support is critical in today’s extremely competitive academic, therapeutic, athletic environment. Building the endowment means strengthening Camp of Excellence's financial base for the future. It is only through philanthropy that Camp of Excellence’s endowment will become competitive with the endowments of its peer educational institutions. Support from alumni, parents and friends increases the resources being invested and makes larger investment returns possible.
Planned Giving
Planned gifts, such as bequests or charitable trusts, can be an advantageous way to provide for a future gift to charity. You can take care of yourself and take care of Camp of Excellence.
WHAT IS "PLANNED GIVING?"
Planned giving involves providing for a future gift to charities through your financial and estate plans. The Cmp welcomes gifts made through different planned giving arrangements. These arrangements can:
Provide for you or your loved ones
Entitle you to charitable income and/or gift or estate tax deductions
Enable you to leave a legacy for Camp of Excellence.
If you have decided to include Camp of Excellence in your estate plans, give to our Annual Fund, or contribute to our Endowment Fund we would like to show you our appreciation by including you as a member of Camp of Excellence's honorary society.
